#1 NICETOWN Patio Blind Soundproof curtain for door
- Choose your favorite color and size (available in over 21 colors and 19 sizes)
- Makes your place look really nice
- You can easily hang it yourself
- Affordable high-quality option
- Makes your room quieter and peaceful
The NICETOWN Patio Blind curtain is one of my favorites and the best soundproof curtain for doors right now. Its simple and classic design gives it a professional look since there is no actual design on it.
It is a three-layer curtain, made from polyester, so there is no doubt about it that its noise-blocking capabilities is beyond your expectation.
It is also a multi-functional one, which means it will block out noise and thermally insulate as well as block out light. So it is basically a “one arrow, three targets” curtain. 😊
Its noise reduction capabilities are quite impressive; I noticed a significant difference of approximately 18 dB, which is quite respectable considering its price point.
By the way, according to manufacturer it is 90% blackout. (Read: Soundproof curtains vs blackout curtains)
In my view, if you’re searching for an effective soundproof curtain for your doorway, this NICETOWN Patio Blind Soundproof curtain would be an excellent choice. We couldn’t find any drawbacks to this curtain. So, if it meets your needs, you can go for it.
#2 H.VERSAILTEX Patio Curtains for Sliding Door
- Available in 9 different sizes and 19 colors
- It does a great job at blocking out light
- Highly rated product
- It reduces noise by 24 dB
- High GSM rating
- Price is a bit high
Without a doubt, this soundproof curtain for sliding doors is an absolute gem for noise reduction in a door! It’s one with ton of features and is available in a variety of sizes and 19 different colors, including some super attractive colors like taupe, burnt ocher and turquoise blue.
It is not just great at blocking out noise, but it also offers a good amount of light-blocking, and thermal insulation capabilities since it is manufactured with triple weave technology. While testing its noise reduction ability, we notice this curtain reduces 24 dB of noise which is exceptional!
And it does a good job of thermally insulating your room, installing this curtain will drop 8.6 Celsius, literally the temperature comes down from 40.0 C Celsius to 31.4 Celsius. So it will save you a lot of money on electricity bills because in summer your room won’t be hot enough you can run your air conditioner on high.
And according to the product details, it is up to GSM 230 which is a plus point, it is a term that refers to Fabric Weight. The higher the fabric’s GSM, the thicker it is, the higher its density will be. Overall this curtains is nice and my 2nd best pick!
#3 RYB HOME Noise-reducing Curtain
- Available in many colors and sizes
- Quite easy to install
- Detachable liner
If you have a higher budget and are looking for a high-quality curtain for your door, then this might be a good option for you.
This curtain is designed with triple weave technology, which effectively blocks out all light. This makes it an ideal choice for babies who sleep during the day.
One great feature of this curtain is that it is available in a four-layer variant, which provides even better sound-absorbing abilities than the three-layer ones. And it also has thermal insulation feature that reduces your electricity bill.
Overall, this curtain is a worthwhile investment if you need a high-quality soundproofing solution for your door.
#4 Deconovo Thermal Insulated Soundproof Curtain
- Comes in 30 colors and 23 different sizes
- Made with good quality material
- High quality stainless steel grommet
- Poor light blocking ability
In our personal testing, we found that it effectively reduces the noise level by 17.2 dB, which is quite commendable. Considering its cost of less than $30, finding a curtain that offers such noise reduction at this price point is indeed a good deal.
It comes with a high quality stainless steel grommet for easy installation. However, the ability to block light is very poor. It doesn’t block light so well.
All in all, this soundproof curtain is a good choice for reducing noise around doorways, but its light-blocking ability is poor. If you need both soundproofing and light-blocking, it is not be the best option and I would not recommend it too.
But it is good, if you are searching for “soundproofing curtain for door”.
#5 StangH Printed Blackout & Noise Reducing Curtain for Patio Door
- Well printed
- Ideal for large doors
- It cost less than $30
- Rated for 4.8 out of 5.0
- A little lighter
This is a triple weave curtain which means its noise reduction and light-blocking capacity is good, and this is a plus point as there are only a few curtains that offer triple weave at such a cheap price.
I also tested this curtain’s noise reduction capability and found that it reduced the noise level by 14.6dB, which is not as good as some of the more expensive curtains on the market. Nonetheless, it is still quite effective at reducing noise.
#6 RYB HOME Blackout Doorway Curtain for Closet
- Super cheap
- Built with triple-weave technology
- It block 85-95% of sunlight and UV rays
If you are on a very low budget like $25 or $20 then this is the best option for you by far. At the time of writing this post its price is just $19.95 which is pretty cheap. And just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean it doesn’t do its job well. You can get an idea of how good it is just by looking at its rating of 4.7, which speaks to its quality.
This is surprising right? It will be even more surprising when you keep in mind that 80% of its total global rating gave it 5 stars alone.
It is made with 100% high quality durable polyester with triple-wave technology. It blocks about 85-95% of sunlight and UV rays, it is clearly mentioned in its description. We also notice this while testing the curtain.
Additionally, it’s designed with thermal insulation in mind, and also comes with a grommet for easy installation, their quality is also good.
All in all, this is the #1 recommendation for those looking for a soundproofing curtain for door on a budget of less than $20.
#7 RYB HOME Blind curtain for sliding glass door
- Comes in different sizes and colors.
- It can be used both as a room divider and as a door curtain
- Slightly inexpensive
- Slightly weak in noise reduction
This soundproof room divider curtain is ideal to use it as a noise reduction barrier for nurseries, but its versatility extends beyond nurseries, and you can also use it for your sliding glass doors.
In terms of build quality, it is pretty sturdy, it is made of high-quality polyester and polyester blend materials. Its triple weave technology design adds to its durability and effectiveness in noise reducing.
When it comes to its blackout capabilities, it performs good, providing 85-95% blackout. During our testing of its noise reduction abilities, we observed a reduction of 11 dB.
While this is good and will still help in reducing unwanted noise, it might not be as impressive as some other curtains like the one that you just talked: RYB HOME Blackout Doorway Curtain
#8 NICETOWN High-End Noise reduction curtain for door
- Lots of color and size variants available
- Highly rated product
- Constructed with 2 layers
- Price is slightly high
When it comes to soundproofing curtain of the best quality, it cannot be that the name of NICETOWN does not come up. This is one of my favorite brands in the world of sound absorbing curtains.
Its weigh more than 2kg which will increase its effectiveness a bit, but it is only in 2 layers, and therefore its effectiveness in soundproofing will be 33% low compared to a 3 layered one.
I tested the noise reduction capabilities of this curtain, (do you sound-absorbing curtain actually work?), and I notice a noise reduction of 13.7 dB, this is slightly poor in my opinion as for its cost.
By the way, its light blocking capabilities is super good, it can block 95%-100% of the light as you can see in this image-
In this curtain, everything is fine and good, but it will be better if its price will be less than $ 30 or $ 33 because it is a 2 layers curtain.

Finally, if you are on a extremely low budget then, RYB HOME Blackout Doorway Curtain for Closet is a great choice because it’s so cheap and quite good.
