It is a three-layer curtain, made from polyester, so there is no doubt about it that its noise-blocking capabilities is beyond your expectation.
It is also a multi-functional one, which means it will block out noise and thermally insulate as well as block out light. So it is basically a “one arrow, three targets” curtain. 😊
Its noise reduction capabilities are quite impressive; I noticed a significant difference of approximately 18 dB, which is quite respectable considering its price point.

It is not just great at blocking out noise, but it also offers a good amount of light-blocking, and thermal insulation capabilities since it is manufactured with triple weave technology. While testing its noise reduction ability, we notice this curtain reduces 24 dB of noise which is exceptional!
And it does a good job of thermally insulating your room, installing this curtain will drop 8.6 Celsius, literally the temperature comes down from 40.0 C Celsius to 31.4 Celsius. So it will save you a lot of money on electricity bills because in summer your room won’t be hot enough you can run your air conditioner on high.
And according to the product details, it is up to GSM 230 which is a plus point, it is a term that refers to Fabric Weight. The higher the fabric’s GSM, the thicker it is, the higher its density will be. Overall this curtains is nice and my 2nd best pick!

In our personal testing, we found that it effectively reduces the noise level by 17.2 dB, which is quite commendable. Considering its cost of less than $30, finding a curtain that offers such noise reduction at this price point is indeed a good deal.
It comes with a high quality stainless steel grommet for easy installation. However, the ability to block light is very poor. It doesn’t block light so well.
All in all, this soundproof curtain is a good choice for reducing noise around doorways, but its light-blocking ability is poor. If you need both soundproofing and light-blocking, it is not be the best option and I would not recommend it too.

I also tested this curtain’s noise reduction capability and found that it reduced the noise level by 14.6dB, which is not as good as some of the more expensive curtains on the market. Nonetheless, it is still quite effective at reducing noise.

When it comes to soundproofing curtain of the best quality, it cannot be that the name of NICETOWN does not come up. This is one of my favorite brands in the world of sound absorbing curtains.
Its weigh more than 2kg which will increase its effectiveness a bit, but it is only in 2 layers, and therefore its effectiveness in soundproofing will be 33% low compared to a 3 layered one.
I tested the noise reduction capabilities of this curtain, (do you sound-absorbing curtain actually work?), and I notice a noise reduction of 13.7 dB, this is slightly poor in my opinion as for its cost.
By the way, its light blocking capabilities is super good, it can block 95%-100% of the light as you can see in this image-
In this curtain, everything is fine and good, but it will be better if its price will be less than $ 30 or $ 33 because it is a 2 layers curtain.

My Final Thought
